“Hey, Y/n,” Rich smiles, appearing the the doorway of your temporary bedroom in the bunker.

You had spent some time researching the world of supernatural beings that had once been fiction, and that was what you were currently doing.

“Hey. How was your trip with Gabriel?”

Rich rubs the back of his neck, a nervous habit of his that you had picked up on after years of being friends.

“Rich…”

“Y/n, he told me what our lives are like here. Gabriel and Y/C, they’re happy with one another. And he told me that the way the universe works… Damnit I should just say it, shouldn’t I?”

You throw your legs over the side of the bed and pull yourself into a standing position.

“Rich, I’ve known you for a long time, and I know when you’re nervous. You don’t have to be around me.”

The actor groans, “But you make me nervous! Whenever we film together, whenever you’re even around me, I can’t help it.”

“What?”

Rich throws his hands in the air, muttering something along the lines of, “I’ll just show you then.”

He takes a few hesitant steps toward you until you can feel his breath on your face. His hand reaches up to cup your cheek as he brings his lips down to meet yours.

You brings your hands around to pull him closer as a light creaking sound comes from the other side of the room.

Someone coughs, causing you and Rich to pull apart.

Gabriel’s head is poking through the door, smirking.

“I see things went well.”

You nod, smiling awkwardly.

“Well, good thing, because we found out how to get you guys back to your world.”

Your smile widens and you wrap your arms around Rich to hug him.

He grins down at you and returns the embrace, glancing over at Gabriel as the archangel winks.

It was a rough ride, but everything was going to work out.

Oblivious

The first part is kinda based on real life events. But not the part where they get together, because my life isn’t a romance novel.

“Oh, c’mon, Rich. You’re so oblivious sometimes,” Rob chuckles, trailing beside his friend backstage at a panel.

It was your first panel by yourself and you were thrilled yet nervous, so you invited to boys to crash it.

Rich halts in his tracks and turns towards his friend.

“Whatcha mean, Robbie?”

Rob bites his lip, sighing.

“Alright, listen, I promised her I wouldn’t tell you, but I see the way you two look at each other, so I’ll say it. Y/n’s got a big crush on you, Rich. And I can tell you feel the same.”

Rich is completely dumbfounded.

“What? How do you know this?”

“Briana told me. Y/n was there, though, so she knows that I know.”

Rich narrows his eyes at his best friend before letting out a deep breath and relaxing slightly.

“You’re sure about this?”

"Dude, have you ever seen her face around you? She’s always laughing at your stupid jokes or asking you to come to her panels.”

Rich nods and raises an eyebrow, “Wait, you think my jokes are stupid?”

Rob laughs nervously while pushing his friend toward the stage, where you are.

"Go get your girl.”

Rich smiles and throws open the curtain to the stage, causing the audience to erupt in cheers.

“Oh, hey, Rich!” Rob hears you say.

There is silence, besides the fans screams dying down, and then their yelling fills the room again.
