Ashes from the Fire

Start by pulling him out of the fire and

hoping that he will forget the smell.

He was supposed to be an angel but they took him

from that light and turned him into something hungry,

something that forgets what his hands are for when they

aren’t shaking.

He will lose so much, and you will watch it all happen

because you had him first, and you would let the world

break its own neck if it means
keeping him.

Poem by Caitlyn Siehl

~

Gabriel hit an all time low when he came back to you. It was purely coincidental that the first person he saw in his darkest hours could pull him from the fire.

You cared for the now human, archangel, and desperately tried to bring him back from the pits of hell.

He’d been through too much. Heaven’s angels captured him, turned him into a starving, pitiful human, and broke him. The light that once lit up entire rooms had vanished from his eyes and his smile. Gabriel’s charismatic personality was cracked and had been sanded down into nothing.

In that cold, dark cell, Gabriel’s nightmares came true. They tortured him to the point of breaking, and even beyond that. Every second that he was alone, his hands shook and his mind went crazy.

You watched him from the doorway of his room every night as he screamed and shouted your name. You’d silently enter the room and lay next to him, holding him to your chest. It always seemed to calm him down.

He needed you, and you needed him. But it was going to take awhile before Gabriel would be on his feet again.

The Horn of Gabriel (Pt 2)

(Second Part)

Warnings: Smut

<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>

You couldn’t have spun around faster in your whole existence. Nothing was more important than this.

You were finally able to see his hazel eyes full of happiness and feel the warmth of his body against yours. His lips kissed you and his hands roamed your body with an intense eagerness. It’d been too long, but in his death you hadn’t forgotten his touch.

“I have missed you so much,” you breathed, running a hand through his caramel hair.

He pressed drawn-out kisses to your neck, nipping on your pulse-point as you spoke.

“Not as much as I’ve missed you, my love.”

You felt the smooth palms of his hands run down your waist and stop at your hips. Years of waiting for this, for him, had made you both very impatient.

“Gabriel, darling, it’s been way too long, but let’s skip the foreplay.”

You’d always known Gabriel to love foreplay, but this was not the time for it.

He acknowledged your request by pulling away from your neck and nodding.

Your vision blurred and the surroundings shifted. You knew this room well; it was the bedroom that you and Gabriel had first slept together in. It held so many memories from years ago.

“Do you remember?” He asked, hand around your waist as he led you toward the bed.

You nodded, smiling fondly. Gabriel was always sentimental, even if he tried not to show it.

“It’s surreal, being here with you,” you admitted, daring a look in his bright eyes. You’d never seen him that happy before this moment.

He eased you down on the mattress which still held the familiar scents that reminded you of Gabriel. His torso loomed over yours, his hands pressed down on the plush surface next to your head. Gabriel dipped down to kiss you, eliciting an electric emotion that always occurred when the two of you were together. A rush of air flew over your body, but you knew the feeling. When you wanted him to get to the point, he could, and both of you being angels had its perks.

“I love you so much,” you sighed, placing your arms beside you and watching Gabriel as he guided his girth to your entrance.

You felt the gentle wisps of him breathing as he slid into you. The sensation caused you to moan and place your hands on his bare back. His toned muscles rippled under your fingertips as he moved, the sounds of skin on skin filling the room.

Sex with Gabriel had never felt like this before. The two of you were torn from one another by despicable means, and it made this moment even better.

Gabriel’s body covered yours, his hair hung over his face and he pushed it back. A light sheen of sweat glistened on both of your foreheads despite the slightly cool temperature of the room. You arched up into Gabriel’s touch with each thrust, calling his name after every breath. He said your name in short grunts, but with the intensity of someone praying to a god.

The strong coil of your orgasm clenched around Gabriel’s shaft, causing his as well. A wave of euphoria flooded through your core and rushed throughout your whole body. Your back fell down into the bed and Gabriel’s body leaned into you.

A moment of pleasurable silence passed with only the sounds of each other’s breaths getting longer to fill the emptiness.

“I can’t thank you enough for saving me,” Gabriel whispered.

Your chin rested easily on his shoulder as his arms brought you into him. You hadn’t just saved him; you’d saved yourself, too.

A/N: So this is the first part considering Tumblr wont let me post it all together…. Second part will be posted shortly!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
His death killed you. Not literally, but it felt that way. Part of you was stuck on the fact that you weren’t there. His last words, his last breath, and you were miles away.
Lucifer wouldn’t let you near him. Despite the fact that you were a mere angel, he was scared of what you would do if you had seen Gabriel’s death. And Lucifer had every right to be frightened.
That was then, and now, you were crazy. It was a stupid idea, you knew, but hey, breaking into Heaven’s weapons vault couldn’t be that bad, right?
“Castiel, I need your help,” you called, awaiting a response from your naïve brother.
You hardly ever needed him for help, but there was no way you were doing this alone. You also heard about him working with the Winchesters, some human hunters. That must have made him more humane (he was always the honest and ‘angelic’ one).
You waited a few minutes, but nothing except complete radio silence.
“So that’s how it’s gonna be,” you mumbled, biting your lip and figuring out your next move.
Sirens. Sirens everywhere. It was almost as if all of Angel Radio was screaming at you at once. Red flashes of light blinded your vision and alerted any and every angel in existence of what was going on. You were dead.
Part of you wished that it would end like that, with the angels tossing you into Heaven’s prison and locking you up like a dog. Part of you wanted them to torture and threaten you. But the better part of you, the Gabriel part of you, was keeping it together for him.
Your hands grasped the smooth, bone-like structure of the horn. Ancient wood lined the outer edge, looking as brand new as ever. Any normal person would have no idea that the object was made before almost anything in existence. You pressed your lips to the mouth of the horn, blowing air through it and sending a deep, dark sound through the night.
No one had done anything like this before. It had never been attempted, which meant no reference as to if or when it would bring Gabriel back.
Your hands trembled around the horn’s handle, letting it slip out of your grasp and fall to the floor.
“Now, now, that’s a relic. Practically priceless.”
