Archangel? That would explain the raw energy you felt around him. He was powerful, and from your knowledge, one of the most powerful beings in existence. I

But out of all people, why would he ask you for help?

No, that didn’t matter right now. All that mattered was finding and helping him.

You informed the Winchesters about your odd dreams and how Gabriel was asking for help. You then pointed to the scorched name on your arm, which had since started to fade.

“Sorry if we seem a bit off kilter, but we thought he was dead,” Sam responded, giving you a small, knowing smile.

In your conversation with the two, you liked Sam better. He was far more open and kind than his brother. Though you hadn’t expected kindness from hunters.

”All I know is that he needs help. Will you both be joining me or am I on my own?“

Like clockwork, the Winchesters share a gaze. You can tell they’re deliberating their answer. All you could do was hope that they could at least send you in the right direction.

They come to an agreement and Dean replies.

“We’ll help, but before we get into any digging around, you’ve got to meet someone.”

You narrow your eyes slightly, your brows quirking up to say, go on.

Dean’s emerald eyes look toward the ceiling.

“Cas, get your winged-ass here, right now. It’s important.”

You stare, confused and bewildered for a second before you get startled. A man appeared next to you in the booth.

“Who-“

The power buzzed around him like an electric fence. Angel, of course.

“My name’s Castiel,” the man, Castiel apparently, said. He then turns his attention to the hunter across from him.

“Is something wrong?”

“No, Cas, but we do have something we need help with.”

Dean motions to you.

“Uh,” you clear your throat, “You must know Gabriel, the archangel.”

Cas’ eyebrows furrow and he seems puzzled.

“I do. He was my brother.”

Was. The word stings for some reason but you have no clue why.

“Well he’s alive and needs our help.”
