I hate myself for writing Youtuber fanfiction, but it had to be done.

@samanthasmileys – I will send you the version with your name, but this one is a reader insert 🙂

• Brian tries hooking up Craig and the reader

__________________________________________________
“Brian, you twat!” You swatted a hand at your best friend as you pulled him aside. The two of you had been roommates for the longest time; he was almost a brother to you. One of your mutual friends, Craig, was staying with you two, and it had been Brian’s new mission to play matchmaker.

Brian smiled wickedly, shrugging his shoulders. “What?”

“You know damn well what you’re doing.”

Your friend shook his head and turned away, off to find Craig.

You had to deal with this for another week until both men were off to Insomnia. It was going to be torture.

“Oh, Y/n!”

You sighed. That was your cue to go find Craig and Brian.

“Yea, yea!”

See, your issue in this situation wasn’t that you didn’t like Craig, but quite the contrary. You had a small, school-girl crush on the youtuber, but that’s all it was, just a silly little crush.

Your feet led you in the general direction of Brian’s voice, which seemed to be in the living room. As you saw the two boys standing, waiting for you, something seemed off.

Brian definitely had something planned.

“What’s up?” You asked, noting that they were dressed and looked ready to go somewhere.

Brian answered, of course, because after all, it was his master plan.

“We were thinking about going out to dinner someplace. You have no choice but to come.”

What a sneaky prick.

“Fine.”

Brian almost snickered at the look on your face. “Oh, and I need to head to the store first, so you two can take Craig’s car.”

You have got to be kidding me.

Goddamn his car was nice.

“We could have driven together, but Brian was so adamant that he needed to go to the store alone.”

You laughed, “He’s probably picking up condoms or something. He isn’t exactly very open about that stuff with people around.”

Craig chuckled, pulling his keys from his pocket and starting the car. The engine roared to life, humming as it took off down the road.

The car ride was, for the most part, surprisingly fun. You and Craig talked about games, events coming up, and hobbies outside of Youtube that both of you found interesting.

It hardly seemed like ten minutes had passed as the vehicle pulled into the restaurant’s parking lot.

“Well, here we are. I’ll call Brian and see where he’s at.”

Craig grabbed his phone and dialed Brian’s number. As he brought the device to his ear, you had time to observe him. His fading, blue hair was slicked to one side, his damn near perfect jawline and lips made your heart falter. You were so deep in thought about the man that you didn’t realize he’d ended his call.

“Find something you like?” Craig snickered, shoving his phone into his pocket.

Before you could form an answer, he spoke again,” Brian said he got caught up in traffic and that we should just go ahead and eat.”

There it was. This was his plan all along.

You groaned on the inside but smiled on the outside.

“Let’s go then.”

You never should have come here, and things were going well. Your feelings for Craig fell deeper after every joke he made and every compliment he gave you.

You laughed for the hundredth time at what he’d said, replying with a soft, “I’m dead,” that was more meant for you and not him.

“Brian still hasn’t shown up, that prick,” you casually said, slightly shaking your head.

Normally Craig would take that as a cue to insult his friend, but he stayed silent. Of course you noticed.

“What’s wrong?”

Despite Craig’s boisterous personality, in that moment he grew shy. Something was eating at him and it was making him nervous.

“Uh, so you see, I told Brian not to show up…”

“This was your plan and not Brian’s?”

Craig lightly shook his head up and down, tilting it up to glance at your eyes. He thought he was going to see anger or something along those lines, but he saw genuine happiness radiate off you.

“I’ve liked you for awhile, just never told anyone. Brian always knew me too well,” you sighed.

Craig reached for your hand, took it in his, and stroked his thumb against your palm.

“Glad we share the same feelings, Y/n. How about we stay out a little later and worry Brian?”

You grinned and chuckled, “How did I ever get lucky enough for you?”

The youtuber shared your exact expression. “I’d say we’re both the lucky ones.”

BaritoneChick’s FAQ

How old are you?

As of November 26, 2018, I am 18.

What characters do you write?

Mainly Gabriel, Chuck, Lucifer, and Crowley. I’ve written others in the past, so I’m not against it entirely.

What fandoms do you write for?

I have written Supernatural, Sherlock, Merlin, Marvel, and Youtube fics. I’m willing to write for any show I’ve seen.

Requests ______________________________________ • I hardly ever write Sam or Dean. I’m sorry, but I just don’t find inspiration in them. If you request one of them, I may say no or it may take awhile.

• Do NOT, by any means, send me a request that you have previously sent to another author. That’s just rude to both authors and causes negativity.

• It may take some time to get a fic written depending on the request and character. We all get writer’s block sometimes. __________________________________________________ Follower Milestones __________________________________________________• Whenever I hit ‘milestones’ (usually every hundred or so) I will do special activities (such as ships, videos, etc.). I expect that my followers actually want to participate. If I find no one wanting me to do those things, I’ll stop them. It’s no fun for me when that happens. __________________________________________________ I may add more requirements and such in the future.
