You jumped through the portal without hesistation, followed closely by five others. Your heart pulsed and adrenaline pumped through your body. Sam and Dean thanked Rowena and sent her on her way.

You were tasked with helping clean up the broken archangel. Plus, you had some important questions.

Gabriel silently followed you to your room, trudging along.

You allow the archangel inside and motion for him to sit on the freshly made bed. His movements are jerky and not consistent. You shake away the feeling of helplessness and sorrow.

You search around for a med kit, eventually finding one hidden in the bathroom along with a wet cloth to clean the wounds.

The whole experience of this had been a roller coaster of emotions for you, not to mention the visions and headaches. Just as you step into the bedroom with the items, an immense pain radiates through your skull.

You cry out unknowingly and get sucked back into a black fog.

Your body shivers violently from the chilly air. You walk willingly toward a dimly lit diner just up the road.

“Let me take you back to the bunker, you’ll catch a cold,” a masculine voice says from behind you.

Without needing to know who it is, you sigh, but stay silent. Your eyes avert quickly to the body that appears beside you.

“Don’t play stubborn with me, Y/n,” the man says. He finally comes into view and that is enough to send you spiraling back into consciousness.

Sam and Cas go rushing into your room at the sound of your scream. Sam had no idea what was happening, but Cas knew otherwise.

They find you on your knees and grasping your head.

Sam glances around for Gabriel, who’d since scurried into the corner out of fright.

Cas holds your shoulders as you jolt back to reality.

“Gabriel,” you breathe out, wildly scanning for the archangel. You spot him across the room looking at you in fear.

He was the man in your vision.

Cas narrows his eyes and you know that your secret isn’t safe any longer. The angel’s determined stare is enough to make you confess.

“I’ve been getting visions and headaches. They have been progressively intensifying as time goes on.”

Sam opens his mouth to scold you for not telling him earlier when you interject.

“I’m not our biggest issue right now.”

“I am.” The deep, gravelly voice comes from the feeble looking archangel in the corner. His eyes are less alarmed and more alert.

You suck a breath in, almost choking at how fast you’d inhaled.

Cas offers his brother a hand, to which the archangel gratefully takes to pull himself up.

You can finally get a good look at the celestial being who’d once been full of power. He’s frightened, and it’s taking every bit of courage for him to not fall apart.

It was such a precious, intimate moment that you hadn’t wanted to break with the questions that plagued your mind.

In that moment, everything seemed fine. But then, of course it wouldn’t last long.

Gabriel’s demeanor instantly changed the split second the phone went off.

Sam’s brows creased in curiousity as he checked the screen. Whatever was on it, didn’t seem good by the way he pursed his lips into a thin line upon putting the device on speaker.

“Hello?”

“Sam Winchester? It’s Asmodeus. I’ve heard that you have something that belongs to me. I want it back.”

Gabriel cowers away, eyes wide with a deep, internal fear.

“No,” Sam responds quickly, ready to hang the phone up.

Asmodeus chuckles on the other side, “You’ve got ten minutes before I come burn down that bunker and take him.”

Sam ends the call with a shaking finger.

“What do we do?” You shudder at the thought of not being safe in the bunker.

Cas eyes Sam for a sign of an idea of what to do, but he has nothing. What you all needed was a fully-powered archangel.

“Wait,” you pause, reaching in Sam’s pocket for the one thing he was holding closest to him in the moment.

You gently tug out the vial of grace that glimmered with a blue hue.

Careful not to scare him, you hand the grace over to Gabriel. His gaze is uncertain, but he obliges.

The sparkling essence enters his body, but nothing else happens.

“Anything,” you ask hopefully.

Gabriel shakes his head, “Nothing.”

Red flashes of light followed by the sounds of sirens blaring startled everyone. Asmodeus was here, and he wanted an archangel.

“Y/n, stay with Gabriel. Cas and I will check the bunker,” Sam instructs.

You nod in agreement. It wasn’t wise to split up normally, but Gabriel was in no shape to go patrolling.

Sam and Cas exit the room with their weapons drawn to begin securing the bunker.

You groan; this was too much right now.

“I’m sorry.”

The words are out of the blue coming from the once silent archangel.

You nod, turning to face him with a small, melancholy smile. Your assumption was that his apology was for getting you into this whole ordeal. Maybe you were right, or maybe it was something else.

Either way, this was your life now.

The door to the hallway was still open, and in that second, three men entered the room with a tremendously quick attack. The first two pushed you out of the way and went for the celestial being chilling on your bed.

The demons grabbed Gabriel first, securing him despite his sporadic struggling.

The third one came straight for you. He held a blade by his chest, pointed toward you and wore a deadly grimace. He took the split second to lash out, which you easily blocked.

The next attack was from you as your fist landed in the demon’s gut. He staggered back but, unfortunately, recovered. You made another offensive move before a thick sleepiness overtook.

Your body fell to the ground, limp, and the demon shrugged. He picked you up and carried you to the war room.

On your end, however, everything dimmed once you impacted with the floor.

“Sammy!” Dean shouted, wrestling the demon closest to him as his brother was failing with his own.

You, on the other hand, had just defeated a particularly weak demon. Your focus turns to Sam as you rush over to help.

You awaken with a loud gasp, intaking a large amount of air to regain your composure. Everything before the vision comes back to you. Instead of being in your room like you were earlier, you’re being held by a pair of strong arms in the war room.

You struggle, but in the end, it’s useless.

Cas and Sam are across the room, pinned against the wall.

Then, the big, bad Prince of Hell is standing front and center. Asmodues holds his hand out to strangle the boys with his newly found powers.

His eyes fall unto you.

“Who is this?” Asmodues’ lips curl into a devious grin.

Your eyes go wide with fear and a brief resilience.

“A fresh face around here is just what I need. Maybe I’ll take you as leverage,” the deep southern voice chuckles, “Or maybe I’ll kill you.”

Asmodeus grabs at your neck and lifts you off the ground a few inches. His hold tightens, beginning to restrict your air intake. You gasp for a breath and struggle, but it’s utterly no use against a being this powerful.

Your eyes dart crazily around the room for some sort of out. Finally, they fixate on Gabriel at the balcony. His body glows with such an hostile instensity that, for a moment, you’re frightened. But his anger isn’t for you.

The demons constraining the archangel are immediately turned to a fine, black dust that scatters over the floor.

Asmodeus loosens his hold enough for you to free yourself and back away. The prince of hell’s confidence wanes as he spots the archangel.

“What are you doing, boy? I broke you!”

Gabriel raises a hand up and snaps his fingers. Luckily, you’d gotten far enough away that the demon combusting didn’t fry you as well. All you felt was a slightly warm tingle on the skin of your arms.

Asmodeus’ body turned to nothing in thin air along with any fear you’d had.

Cas and Sam pulled themselves off of the floor. Gabriel lowered his arm and sighed.

He was back.
